RWB Hoonigan in Eurotuner

RAUH-Welt Begriff once again graced the cover of Eurotuner magazine for the March 2012 issue and while the issue is long since gone in the stores I picked up the issue when it first came out.  It's just the issue sat on the back burner for a while as I did other things and I only finally got around to reading it the other day and taking a couple snaps for the blog.

This time around the RWB car featured is the RWB964S car called [HOONIGAN] the car is a Matte White with red interior '91 911 Turbo (965) that was built along side the Fatlace cars in San Fransisco and debuted at the 2011 SEMA show.

I have to say of all the RWB articles I've read to date this was one of the better ones when it came to a single car.  The article didn't touch on what RWB is it accepted that the readers already know about the Porsche tuner in Chiba Japan and just focused on the car for a change (OK so they did do a short blurb about RWB at the end).  Hopefully more articles go that way in the future.

With the article focused on the car we learned that Brian had wanted a white with red interior 911 for the longest time and managed to pick up a concourse like example from Colorado.  I'm sure there are plenty of people outraged that a turbo 911 in that kind of  condition got hacked up but I say more power to Brian for doing what he wanted with the car.

We also got to read about Nakai-san's build process and if that doesn't get you excited about what RWB is really about then I don't know what would.  It's not just slapping on some pre-made body panels panting it some off the wall color and calling it done.

After that we learn about how the collaboration between RWB Brian and Fifteen52 happened as well as some tech talk about what else went into the car before it was finished and shown off at SEMA to announce the new Hoonigan brand.

If you didn't pick up a copy yourself than you definitely missed out on some great stuff but thankfully Eurotuner is there for you with an online version complete with pictures for you to enjoy.  In the article it mentioned a video in some footnotes but I haven't seen anything uploaded from Euroturner on the car yeah there hasn't been any new footage of [HOONIGAN] since SEMA.
